All students: if you are ever tardy, please listen: when you report to a tardy station, please take out your student ID card so the teacher can scan the barcode.

Homecoming ticket sales started Monday. The dance will be held on Saturday, September 25th from 7-10 pm. Ticket prices are $14. Tomorrow is the last day to buy tickets and they will be $15. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOORS.

Spirit week is coming to a close, but there is still time to win some great prizes. There will be prizes for best-dressed individuals, best-dressed advisement, and best-dressed activity. Tag South High on your favorite social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and use #SouthHoco2021. If you do not have social media, send your photos to Ms. Sara Policky and Ms. Samantha Koehler-Overton. Make sure the subject line is #SouthHoco2021

Louder Than a Bomb meets today at 3:15 in room 360.

Science Club will meet today in room 229 at 3:20.

CRU will be meeting after school tomorrow from 3:15-4:15 in the Hope Center in Room 159. CRU is a faith-based, student led organization. Everyone is welcome to come. If you have any questions about CRU, ask Mr. Chavez in Room 159. 

Are you a know-it-all? Looking to push yourself to the limits? Want to earn scholarships and other prizes? Then join the Omaha South Academic Decathlon team! The Academic Decathlon is a 10-subject team trivia competition for high school students. The Omaha South Academic Decathlon team meets every Monday and Friday in room 428 after school at 3:15. We'll be studying to prepare for the local competition in January. All are welcome to come and check us out and train to be on the team. For more info, please contact co-coaches Mr. Gurnett and Mr. Menendez.

Next week, September 27-30th, is Apply2College week. Seniors will be applying to colleges, visiting with college representatives, and will have a tailgate Thursday to cap off the week. Teachers and staff will also be sharing their college stories with students to get the conversation started about what life after school looks like. Freshman, sophomores, and juniors are encouraged to wear college colors as well. Please help us celebrate this special week!

Saturday- Titan Marching Invitational-Call 10am, bus departs South 11am, bus returns 4:15pm.

Attention Bowlers: There will be an organizational meeting for those students interested in Unified Bowling on Tuesday, October 5 at 3:10 in Room 462.  If you cannot attend this meeting, please see Mr. Goetz in Room 463 for information.
