Ahoj (hello in Slovak) South family. We are members of Packers Making a Change. We would like to inform you about the incredible diversity within our school. Did you know our South High family is made up of students from over 30 countries?! Students walking next to you in the hallway could be from Ethopia or Slovakia, Syria or Kenya. We encourage you to share all the amazing parts of your culture with others today and be open to learning about others.

The South High Prom, Floral Fantasy, will be held Saturday, April 6th from 7:30 - 11:00 PM at the Kroc Center. Tickets will be sold for $20 outside of the math office before and after school beginning today through Friday, April 5. Beat the rush and get them early! If you wish to bring a date from another school a form must be completed and returned to 242 prior to Thursday, April 4 by 3 PM.

Next week, April 1st through the 5th, will be South High's Prom Spirit Week. All students are welcome to dress for the following themes: Monday: Jersey Day, Tuesday: No theme due to Junior ACT testing, Wednesday: Peace Out (Tie Dye Day), Thursday: Marvel vs. DC Superheroes, Friday: Retro Red and White Day Questions? See Ms. Mulder in Room 347

Attn juniors: On Tues., Apr. 2nd, you will be taking the ACT. This will be a junior only day. Please bring a photo ID such as your school ID or driver's license and make sure you're on time. You will be getting a permission slip from your English teacher this week. Return it signed by a parent or guardian and you will be allowed to leave when finished with testing. Testing locations will be posted throughout the building. If you have questions, see Ms. Stambaugh in 347. Also a reminder, please do not bring your backpacks.

Did you know that Omaha South has a huge garden? We are looking for volunteers (staff and students) to help develop and maintain the garden. We will have a planning meeting indoors today after school in room 429 from 3:05 until 4:45. Please talk with Ms. Waugh if you have any questions.

Don't miss the South High Drama Production of Neon Theatre. The annual production is completely improvised by the actors. No two performances are the same. The production will run at 7pm today. Admission is free and will take place in the South High Dance Studio
