All students: If you have ever received a tardy slip this school year, including last semester, please listen: lunch detentions are assigned to any student who reaches 5 or 15 tardies. So, if you ever receive a lunch detention, it MUST be served the very next day in the gym commons area. If you don't serve a detention, you may receive a suspension after school, which is much longer than a lunch detention, plus it goes on your official school record. So, for your sake: get to each class on time, but if you do receive a lunch detention, serve it immediately.
Are you thinking about taking an AP Class next year? Your parents would love to know more about it. On Thursday, January 17 at 5:45pm in the theater, the AP teachers will be available and would LOVE to meet you and your parents. Come find out what all the excitement is about and get AP READY!!
Seniors: OPS Elementary & Middle School Scholarship Applications are now available. Requirements: Attended the elementary and/or middle school for at least 2 years Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale You can get a copy of the Scholarship Application during Senior Symposium, on the Scholarship Board outside the Counseling Office, on Naviance, or from the email sent out by Ms. Wilkinson on 01/04. Please see your counselor with any questions.
Attention Students: Academic Tutoring will begin on Tuesday, January 15th. There is no tutoring in the library this week.
