Today we understand the complexity of this planting process and call this companion planting. Not all plains people feature the tipi as their traditional dwelling, the Umonhon (Omaha people), Ponca, and Arikara traditionally lived in earth lodges and did not change camps frequently.

South High is raising money to build a new arts addition to our school. This exciting addition will add a new state-of-the art studio theatre and a beautiful art gallery to our school! We need your support! Community donors want to know that our students and staff support the project. You can help by donating to Giving Tuesday on December 1st or Giving Thursday on December 3rd. We need to be able to say that a significant number of our South High family members are participating in the project. No amount is too small! You can drop off your donation during lunch on December 1st and 3rd. You will receive a sticker to wear, showing your support of South High. If you have any questions, see Ms. Noble.
